Last weekend my friend and colleague Amanda Jones has started shooting a short backstage/documentary video on my longterm project on the flea market of Saint-Ouen!
Check out two other portraits of Michel: in my blog and on Flickr.
Starting his career in packaging design at Chanel, then becoming a successful furniture designer for private clients, Michel, along with his partners, now keeps two boutiques on Marché Vernaison at the flea market of Saint-Ouen, Paris.
Michel's shops are unique: dark and mysterious, reflecting his own features and character perfectly. At the same time, the world he creates there is beautiful, luxurious, and filled with rare and exceptional pieces. So if you are interested in uncommon interior design (and wealthy enough) find stands 13 and 27 at Allée 1.
There is also another photo of Michel on my Flickr.
